To achieve this good grip feeling, climbers continuously use magnesia powder (&#8220;chalk&#8221;). Measured total particle concentrations (PM1, PM2.5, and PM10) in ambient air rise to 2,000 micrograms\/m and more at peak times (about 50% of which are respirable particles). These values correspond to industrial plants exposed to dust.<\/p>\n<p>Magnesia powder not only increases the concentration of particulate matter in indoor air, but also binds water &#8211; which can lead to increased dry mouth and eye irritation.<\/p>\n<p>Not ideal conditions for indoor climbing and for employees who spend all day in the hall.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the polluting magnesia powder, the challenge for climbing and bouldering gyms is usually to improve the indoor air and protect the health of employees at low energy and cost.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<div
